I work multidisciplinarily — from painting and imagery to sculptural installations and film. These are inseparable paths towards a trace, a word, a sentence, and finally, a language - marked by what remains. The works are fragmentary, as diluted snippets of memory are woven into an unstable narrative.

I was born in an immense city. Theatre, noise, continuous streams of people, breakdowns and flights. The scale was never frightening, it was inclined in me, thrown out on large prospects and later - on my work. Constant fragmentation, disorientation, blizzard... It reveals as floating shots of a camera-eye: downfall in the dungeon, in cave-tunnels, followed by crowds and unreachable exit - to the light. Endless roads day and night...

Existence near death - the point of "never" throws me into attacking the material immediately with my full body. Physicality and urge to grasp the sublime plays a central role in my works. I act upon the raw matter as if I’m constantly picking a fight. Active space drives me the most: a space of a filmed shot where crucial events took place or a terrain where these events are re-enacted.
